I uphold the values of the Triple Bottom Line. The Triple Bottom Line = Planet, People, and Profits, in that order. I believe that the more we help the first two in making the world better a better place, the more we enjoy the abundance it returns to us.

I specialize in high school math, pre-algebra through precalculus. As I always have, I stress for students the importance of achieving simplicity in how concepts are worked and comprehended, without compromising the complexity of the material. The way to do this in math, as with all subjects, is to find the patterns that lie beneath what is commonly taught, disregarding extraneous information that tends to put students in a bind.

As of May of 2018, I have had over 1000 tutoring hours, and my background in teaching and coaching has given me a knack for finding and rounding out students' weak spots and boosting their confidence in themselves. I have helped students jump whole letter grades above where they were before tutoring together and achieve scores deemed "excellent" on tests that before they struggled to finish. I like to think I've even helped some students find the joy in learning math, as I have, by helping them break the code and dissolve the illusion so often impressed on us that everything about math is difficult, complicated, or even for the most part impenetrable. It's not.

My goal is to not only help my students reach their academic goals through math instruction but even better understand themselves and their dreams in the process. For me, every individual is a world of possibilities -- and that belief in me is what I think allows me to achieve my bigger purpose in life.
